Dana Dreifus
  • Studio Owner, Certified Pilates, Core Align, and Barre Instructor

I started practicing Pilates after sustaining a spinal injury in a car accident. I tried many forms of therapy, but Pilates was the only one that seemed to help in a long-term way. After about five years of studying Pilates as a student, I realized I would need to practice it forever. This inspired me to share with others what had helped me so much.

I have studied thousands of hours of Pilates from multiple teachers, physical therapists, and movement educators. For the past ten years, I’ve worked in the field in my studio, PT clinics and at top local studios, and I’ve developed my professional skills while I’ve continued to practice Pilates for my own injuries. Because I came to Pilates as the result of being injured, I deeply understand how difficult it can be to start a movement rehabilitation process, and I will always be sensitive to your particular needs.

I completed a local 500-hour pilates teacher training in 2008, and since then I have completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in pilates and rehabilitative based movement. I have also completed certifications in Barre and Core Align instruction through Balanced Body, and am currently in a yoga teacher training program at Whole Yoga in Denver.

Prior to earning my Pilates Certification, I graduated from CU-Denver with a B.S in biology, and I worked in an Internal Medicine office in Capitol Hill for seven years, so I’m very experienced in working with doctors who help patients through rehabilitation efforts.

Amanda Fletcher
  • Studio Manager, Certified Pilates, Yoga, and Barre Instructor

Amanda Fletcher fell head-over-heels in love with Pilates after trying it for the first time while in law school. At first, Pilates was simply a way to get in great shape and manage stress, but it quickly became so much more. Amanda knew she wanted to help people, but something about being in law wasn’t quite right. At the age of 14 Amanda lost her mother, which caused her body and mind to stop communicating, in order to protect her from the trauma. Sadly, such disconnect also kept her from feeling the joys of everyday life. It was Pilates that brought that joy and connection back. Since starting Pilates, Amanda became incredibly passionate about movement as a way to integrate the mind, body and spirit. After all, we are not just our mind, body, or spirit--all of these aspects of ourselves are interconnected. We can help our mind and spirit by working through and with our body! After feeling and living what Pilates could do, Amanda knew that it was her mission to pay it forward. She enrolled in a 500-hour Pilates Teacher Training program in San Diego and became Pilates Method Alliance certified shortly after. Recently, Amanda enrolled in her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Samadhi Center for Yoga in Denver, CO to further her passion for movement training. In addition to having the honor of teaching Pilates at Whole Body Pilates, Amanda is excited to be teaching Yoga at Whole Body Barre.

Heather Wechler
  • Certified Pilates and Barre Instructor, Reflexologist

A Colorado Native, I started dancing at the age of 8 years old and from there, as an adult, my love grew for movement, fitness, and health containing a mind-body-spirit connection. After a dancing injury in 1991, I was introduced to Pilates and have been hooked ever since. My passion comes from how Pilates has rehabilitated me physically, emotionally, and mentally. I attended CU-Denver for a B.A. in German and Political Science. After the birth of my twin girls in 2007, I held onto my Pilates practice and started my Pilates apprenticeship. I then continued my training, and completed my classical Pilates certification in Denver. I am also a nationally certified Reflexologist and believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness. I have also completed Core Align 1 training and Barre training through Balanced Body. In addition, I participate in various Pilates workshops and intensives on a regular basis. Continuing education is an important aspect of my teaching, what I am able to impart and share with my clients, as well as my personal practice. I am also a certified Reflexologist, and believe in a holistic approach to heath and fitness. In addition to Pilates, I enjoy yoga, spinning, dancing, kettle bells, being outdoors, spending time with my daughters and family.

  • Certified Pilates, Yoga, and Mat Gyrotonics Instructor, Certified Thai Massage Therapist

Native of South of France, I was introduced to Pilates 6 years ago in Guadeloupe, FWI. I fell in love with the method almost instantly thanks to an amazing teacher. Her classes were fun and challenging. Within a few months of going 2 to 4 times a week, I felt stronger than ever, in a very deep and new way. For the first time in my life, I discovered what having abs meant ! My body awareness shifted to another level : muscles I didn't know existed became alive, back pain from being too flexible disappeared, I became more balanced and more grounded.I felt the benefits in other areas of my life, mentally and emotionally, and witnessed the changes in other practicioners' postures as well.

Given the opportunity to sub, I realized that I loved teaching Pilates as much as practicing ! I went to Montreal to take the Ann McMillan Pilates Mat (2010) and Apparatus (Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, 2013) Teacher Trainings. I learned so much in her big two story Pilates studio, where I could practice, observe and teach, surrounded with so many experienced teachers.

I have been teaching Pilates to people of all ages and needs, in many studios in Montreal, Paris and recently Denver, my new home. I am curious and passionate about anything related to mind-body movement and holistic health. In addition to Pilates, I am also a certified Gyrokinesis and Yoga teacher and a Thai Massage therapist (Intensive TMC school Training, Chiang Mai, Thailand, 2012).

I thrive to provide a fun and safe environment to help my clients achieve their personal fitness goals and live a happy and healthy life. Outside of the studio, I also enjoy music, singing, poetry, writing, yoga, outdoors activites and spending time with my husband and new friends !
